THE NORWICH Housing Authority is seeking a full-time Maintenance Worker to join our team! You will perform the work necessary to keep the machines, mechanical equipment, and the structure of an establishment in good working order. Responsibilities: Repair major and minor issues with equipment and buildings, including but not limited to painting, drywall repair, flooring, toilet repair/replacement, and equipment repair. Complete maintenance and work orders in a timely fashion. Order and replace broken parts or equipment as needed. General maintenance may include: Vacuuming, mopping, sweeping as needed. Maintain a clean and safe work space. Lawn maintenance. Other duties as assigned. Rotating on call required. Qualifications: Familiarity with hand-held tools and equipment. Deadline-oriented and detail-oriented. Ability to handle physical workload of 75 lbs. Ability to work independently without supervision. Ability to be professional in all settings.
